What a gem. This place offers some great home cooked foods that you just can't find on the open road anymore for truck drivers. I place Hoods in my top 5 spots to stop during my travels along I-44! My only concern is that one day it may shut down due to this dying industry, but while it lasts, I surely hope it continues having amazing service and quality food! Thank you for being so nice to us truckers, it's hard to find in today's age. PS. The waitress was great! The food was excellent.

A for the salad bar! Everything was very fresh and there was a good variety of items, including 3 pots of soup. There was great, friendly service from our server, Jade. She always had a smile and was patient with our questions and ordering. The food arrived quickly and hot. This was a random stop traveling home from Labor Day vacation, but we hope to make it a new tradition for future travels. We will recommend it to all our family and friends. They were out of T-Bone steak, so that was my One Star ding on Food. And the Atmosphere was nice and pleasant, but I am not a fan of Country Music. 5 stars Overall for me!

The food was delicious my family had French toast and Fish fillet. Both were cooked perfect (for us). The prices are great.

Awesome place. Had fun with the waitress Carla. Very entertaining and made our lunch enjoyable. Would definitely come back if we are in the area again. Food was very good also. Places was clean and well lit. Hope to see you again Carla!

My truck broke down and I stood at the Hoods Motel and next door is this 24hr restaurant, I was completely surprised how the service and food was, my server Ashleigh was amazing, on point with the drinks and food, checking up on me making sure everything was good, I would definitely come back.

Easy on and off I- 44. Great parking. The cheeseburger are hand pressed, REAL MEAT and are cooked to perfection! Highly recommend them. A definite home cooked meal on the road.

Mane I was skeptical at first, I got apple pie last night and you see what I got this evening. Savannah my waitress was phenomenal. Great Food, Great People. I can't forget Randy, that guy is awesome. I enjoyed our conversation . I will definitely be back.

This place actually feeds you like you are a grown person. The prices are not overlly exaggerated, like everywhere else.. good food, fair price, and good attitudes from the servers.
